1. Voluntary donations
All donations to HEAL EMPOWER RISE NPC are made voluntarily and are not refundable except in limited circumstances reviewed on a case-by-case basis (for example, demonstrable processing errors).
2. Use of funds
Donations are used to support H.E.R's mission and programs, including healing and emotional support, empowerment, child support, education, care packages, and community outreach. Where you have specified an allocation, we will direct your gift accordingly while retaining the right to redeploy funds if a program is fully funded or paused.
3. Donation acknowledgements
H.E.R will issue normal donation acknowledgements for record-keeping purposes.
4. Section 18A tax certificates
Section 18A tax-deductible receipts will only be issued if and when H.E.R has the required SARS approval. Until such approval is in place, donations should not be assumed to be tax-deductible.
5. Refund requests
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@healempowerrise.org within a reasonable period of the original transaction. Each request is reviewed individually.
6. Payment processing
Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers. H.E.R does not store credit card or full banking details on its own systems.
7. Personal information
Donor personal information is handled in accordance with the H.E.R Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
