About H.E.R
H.E.R, which stands for Heal · Empower · Rise, was created to support women and children facing adversity with compassion, dignity, and practical care.
We believe every woman deserves the opportunity to rediscover her strength, and every child deserves the chance to grow in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment — regardless of gender, race, culture, or background.
From Sandton, Gauteng, we work alongside communities across South Africa to bring healing where there has been hurt, opportunity where there has been scarcity, and hope where there has been silence.

Our story
Born From a Mother’s Instinct to Protect
H.E.R was born from a simple truth: when a woman sees another woman in pain, or a child without safety, something deeply human rises within her.
For the women leading H.E.R, motherhood is more than caring for the children in their own homes. It is a call to protect, nurture, and stand in the gap for those whose voices are too tired, too young, or too afraid to be heard.
That maternal instinct has become action. It has become safe spaces, care packages, emotional support, education, mentorship, and practical help for women and children facing adversity.
H.E.R exists because every woman deserves someone who believes in her healing. Every child deserves someone who fights for their safety. Every family deserves the chance to begin again.
